About Me
My name is Sandra Hally, and I am the founder of the Sandra Hally Foundation. I am a 14-year survivor of domestic violence, and I’ve dedicated my life to helping others find their strength, their voice, and a new beginning—just as I did.
For many years, I lived in silence, believing the pain I endured was love, believing that I wasn’t worth more. But through faith, courage, and the support of others, I broke free. I came to realize a deep truth: God did not create us to be mistreated. We were created to love ourselves and to live in peace, not in fear. And because I survived, I now use my journey to help others do the same.
The Sandra Hally Foundation was born out of my passion to make a difference. Our mission is "Awakening mindsets, rebuilding what has been broken, and creating a better life." We provide essential items to those in crisis and guide them toward the resources they need—whether it's legal help, shelter, counseling, or a shoulder to lean on. No one should feel alone or without options.
This foundation is more than just a nonprofit. It’s a place of hope, healing, and empowerment. It’s a safe space where survivors can begin again. Because “I survive to help somebody.” And if I can reach just one heart, one life, and help someone choose freedom over fear, then I’ve fulfilled my purpose.
My vision is simple but powerful:
"Moving forward after surviving domestic violence. Opportunity, normalcy, and a new beginning awaits you."
You are not what you’ve been through.
